Scappoose Middle School Bands are comprised of Beginning and Advanced Bands. Our MS Beginning Band is an exploratory instrumental music experience for beginner musicians, where instrument selections are established and basics of playing are learned. Our MS Advanced Band is for band students who already have previous band experience. Students perform at festivals and competitions, evening band concerts, as well as sporting events, marching parades and community events. In and out-of-state band travel is also a component of this class.
