FIRST JAZZ BAND FESTIVAL OF THE 2026/7 SEASON! Scappoose HS Jazz Band will participate at the annual Skyview Jazz Festival at the Skyview High School in Vancouver, WA on Saturday, 12/5/2026.

The Skyview Jazz Festival is a long-standing annual celebration of music and community, proudly hosted by Skyview High School in Vancouver, WA. Each year, the event brings together 25 outstanding junior high and high school jazz bands for a full day of performances, along with special appearances by several area college jazz ensembles. Since its debut in 1997—the year Skyview High School opened—the festival has been a vibrant tradition and a key fundraiser for the school’s music program. It is one of only two high school–hosted jazz festivals in the entire region.

The band will not have a school bus for this event. Students are encouraged to arrange transportation by carpooling with parents or another trusted adult. Please see more information and sign up for carpooling HERE. For parents/chaperones who would like to watch the Festival, tickets are $12/adults and $8/students and will be sold at the door.
